About the event
Please join us for an outstanding day in the woods! KFA Forestry Field Day is back! A great opportunity for you and your family to spend a day at a beautiful mature forest for education, adventure and fun!
Admission Price: Registered KFA Adult Member $25.00. Adult partners of KFA Members $25.00. Adult Non-Members $30.00.(become members at the event!) Students $15.00. Limited to 175 attendees. Registration Deadline: 9-24.
Location: Ralph Earle's Conservation Easement. 1874 N 300 RD. Baldwin City, KS 66006
Date: Saturday, October 5th. 9:30 to 3:00.
Description: Beautiful mature forest and adjacent prairie restoration project area just northeast of Baldwin City. This property is next to the Famous Baldwin Woods Forest Preserve, part of the KU Biological Survey.
Details: Donuts, coffee and drinks to welcome you. A complete box lunch for all paid attendees. Trails are in good condition but walking will be required. We are working to get a UTV to help those with mobility issues but cannot garauntee that service will be available as of now. (porta-johns will be available on site)
What to wear/bring: Good walking or hiking shoes, folding chair, walking stick, sunblock.
